Journey Lab
Agentic checkout
Follow Instinct, an AI agent, through a real purchase, from a text message to a tap on Approve, and watch where the card, the permissions and your consent actually live.

All are the standard Sony DualSense wireless controller, listed in stock at JB Hi-Fi. Only the colour differs.

“shopify.com” supports passkeys, a stronger alternative to passwords that cannot be leaked or stolen.

Head back to Messages and I'll pick up your checkout where we left it.

$140.99 to JB Hi-Fi. Delivered by 6 October. Instinct will confirm in Messages.
Read straight off the screens, with inference kept clearly separate.
The card form lives on shop.app, a different domain from Instinct. The chat never asks for card details.
The checkout reads “Requested by Instinct”, with Decline and Approve pinned to the screen. The tap is yours.
Prepare checkouts, view addresses, use wallet for payment. Each one is spelled out before you continue.
Instinct says so twice, and the screens agree. Money only moves after the Approve step.
Questions raised by the journey. The answers aren't visible on screen.
No “save this card” toggle appeared in the captured screens. If it's saved, “Use wallet for payment” matters more next time.
Would Instinct still need you to tap Approve, or could a saved method be charged without that screen? Check the limits.
Typically an order and a payment token rather than the card number, but the journey doesn't show it.
The permissions screen is clear on the way in. Find where you turn them off in Shop, and note it down.
